Arbitrage Rebate Calculations on Spent Proceeds
Amtec will calculate arbitrage on any existing bond issue or lease. These calculations can be constructed from the issuer's disbursement records or from trustee statements. All calculations will be consolidated into reports creating an excellent audit trail. All tax forms will be prepared for review by the issuer's attorneys and accountants.

Verify Bond Yield
Amtec will verify the bond yield filed with the IRS at closing to determine the point at which arbitrage becomes positive. This calculation verification prevents overpayment of a rebate.

Calculate Rebate
Amtec will calculate the actual rebate at specified times to allow for the establishment of a reserve and transfer of the excess to a Rebate Fund or Reserve Account. This also allows for accurate financial statement reporting of rebate liability.

Calculate Yield on Bond Proceeds Investment Portfolio
Amtec will calculate the yield from the investment of bond proceeds. These investment yields can be compared to the bond yield to determine the rebate or they can be used to measure the effectiveness of professional investment advisors.

Calculate Allowable Rebate Exceptions
If an issuer achieves any rebate spending exception, Amtec will calculate the actual percentages spent in accordance with IRS Regulations. This step is applied to each computation. The appropriate tax documents will be prepared for filing at the required intervals.
